3 LED NOTIFICATIONS: Three LED lights indicate the alarm status. Green means everything is normal, amber indicates an operating error, and red means smoke or carbon monoxide has been detected. This is complemented by a loud 85-decibel alarm.

10-YEAR WARRANTY: The warranty begins when the alarm is activated. If the start date is unknown, the standard recommendation is to replace the alarm at the 10-year mark. Note that this warranty does not cover battery performance.
