SELF-TESTING ALARM: Internal components ensure the alarm is always operating correctly. While this is an added safety feature, perform a weekly button test to ensure alarm operation.

3 LED NOTIFICATIONS: LED lights indicate the alarm status. Green means the alarm is operating normally, amber indicates an operating error, and red means a smoke or carbon monoxide detection with an 85-decibel alarm sound.

10-YEAR WARRANTY: Begins when the alarm is powered on. If the date is unknown, it’s best to assume the alarms should be replaced every 10 years. Note that this warranty covers the alarm, not the battery performance claim.
